Aika Matsumoto is a Japanese Kimono Dress Designer. She aims to bring back the Japanese tradition of wearing kimono, while adding a new touch to it.

Japanese lifestyle was not the same after the war. Clothing, food, and living habits have drastically changed. Unfortunately, some of the culture and traditions from ancient times have been lost.

Even if changes are good, Aika Matsumoto wants to preserve Japanese culture and with it the beauty and uniqueness of kimono.

She thought about turning old Japanese traditions into something new. She wants to revive the abandoned kimono that sleeps in the back of the chest. However, she noticed that she does not get that many chances to wear kimono in her daily life. This is why she thought it would be great if she could find a way to wear kimono more casually.

With this idea in mind, she created kimono dresses that you can wear in 3 minutes.
